If you’ve never heard of Resurrection eggs, they are fairly easy to DIY. ![]() This would work well for older children already familiar with the Resurrection story. You could also do a reverse scavenger hunt by reading the scripture cards and then having the children find the item they believe is represented by the scripture. You could also use the scripture card inside traditional Resurrection eggs if you’d rather. This blog occasionally uses affiliate links. Get creative! Leaves for the palm branches, crackers for the bread, tissues for the linen, etc. You could do this scavenger hunt with children from your church, except you may need to plant things around the room for them to find. Simply print an Easter scavenger hunt page for each child, give them instructions to find one item to represent each thing on the sheet, and then when everyone comes back together have them share what they’ve found and then read the scripture cards together.
